Cleaning Your Sterling Silver Jewelry
Clean sterling silver with a phosphate free detergent. A low abrasive cleaner, such as 3M Tarni-Shield Silver Polish, is great for removing mild tarnish. While some utilize toothpaste to clean their sterling silver, most silver experts advise against it because they find that toothpaste is too abrasive, eventually leaving dulling scratches. We are using .925 sterling silver that is rhodium plated to resist tarnishing.
